This month makes it two years since I moved back home to Lagos, Nigeria from the U.S. In hindsight, I’m really thankful to God for His word and confirmations.

Summer of 2019, there was a stirring in my Spirit to go for my home church’s Annual Congress (I’m a member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG) so I bought a ticket and went home in December. That year, the theme was “The Great Turnaround”. God really did turn things around for me GREATLY!

When I got back to the U.S., I began to sense the Lord would have me quit my job and move back home to Lagos. He later confirmed this at a prayer retreat through a guest minister in January 2020.

A week after the Pastor confirmed it, two other people at church did as well and they both didn’t have full information of what was going on in my heart (what the Lord had said to me).

May 29th, 2020 was my last day at work but I was stuck in the U.S for some months till the borders opened up (this was because of COVID). I finally came to Lagos not knowing what was in store for me. I moved back believing God did speak and was expectant to see how things would play out.

Thank God for video journals! I had made a video December 2019 and I just watched the video again. There were a couple of things I had mentioned I needed God to speak to me (give me clarity) about and He did! I’m doing WAY better than I was in the U.S. and I have God to thank for that.

I’ll be posting a video on my Instagram page later today sharing more details on what I asked God for, what happening now and how He came through.
