On Monday, I meditated on Ephesians 2:19-22.
Up until this week, I didn’t realize God works on us daily and He’s doing this because us wants to build a home for Himself in us and it’s such a privilege to be a part of this!
If you’re not yielded to His Spirit, you’re not letting Him work on you. If you believe you are yielded to His Spirit, then I’ll assume you read His word day and night. If you’re yet to, it’s not too late. You can start today.
On Monday, He revealed to me to keep in mind that He works on me daily so I started being intentional about what He was going to work on each day.
On Tuesday, I learnt that He’s not a stagnant God and He’s always speaking so I have to be sensitive to hearing what He’s saying each moment.
On Wednesday, He spoke to me about love. How i’m capable of loving others because my love grows out of His love for me. (1 Corinthians 13)
On Thursday, He needed me to see beyond the physical as life is spiritual. The devil uses people to carry out His plans so I need to see beyond them and fight my battles with the weapons He has made available to me – The word, prayer, praise and I do all of this through the inspiration and power of The Holy Spirit who is my Helper. (Ephesians 6)
Today, I want you to hide my Word in you so you don’t doubt Me, so you don’t waver and you stay clean – free from sin. (Psalm 119:11)
“That’s plain enough, isn’t it? You’re no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.”Ephesians 2:19-22 MSG
