I’m sure you have heard the saying “change is constant” or “nothing is permanent”. Well, I do agree with this.
Earlier today I was thinking about how things are evolving and have evolved. There has been change in every aspect of my life and I’m sure yours too.
We have changed schools, friends, houses, environments, jobs, career paths, moved on from relationships, even where we hang out. We have all grown. So yes! Indeed, change is constant.
Even with culture, things were done differently in the past. From time to time our grandparents or parents mention it to us and to show indeed there’s been change they begin with “Back in the days” or “in our time”.
Books have up to five or six editions because there’s a new discovery that has to be added or the first edition was improved on.
Whatever the case might be, this post is a reminder that the only thing that is constant is Gods word.
Nothing has been added or taken away from the bible. It will always remain that way. This is why it is important that we read the bible so that we always know what God is saying about the situations we find ourselves in.
This is to help you.
Here are some verses to reflect on;
It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. – Isaiah 55:11
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away – Mathhew 24:35
Not one word of all the good promises that the LORD had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass. – Joshua 21:45
Even if there is a lot going on right now with you, find time to go through the only constant thing right now. Ask for the grace to do what Gods word says.
Don’t compromise because things around you are changing. Trust in God and in His word. He will never put you to shame.
