The only way we learn is by going through things.
Faith is your will deciding that God will keep his promises made to you. Faith is based on knowing Gods word is reliable and that he has promised good things to those who believe Him for them. Remember the only space fear has to work is in the empty space where your faith should be.
It is an error to know a big God and end up with a small mind. It is an error to know a big God and think small. It is an error to know a big God and have little expectations. If what you know about God has not changed your mindset and expectations, you are simply mocking God’s greatness!
Proverbs 23 vs. 18 puts it this way: “For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.”
Only faith pleases God.
There’s no substitute for understanding. It is all that faith requires to come alive. It is the depth of your understanding of the truth of scriptures that determines the height of your triumph.
“For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just and upright shall live and shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17 AMP
Faith is energized in love. Galatians 5:6 AMP says
“For [if we are] in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith activated and energized and expressed and working through love.”
Why did the early apostles make hard choices ? The bold parts of the verses below answers this question.
“For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus [the leaning of your entire human personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness] and of the love which you [have and show] for all the saints (God’s consecrated ones), Because of the hope [of experiencing what is] laid up (reserved and waiting) for you in heaven. Of this [hope] you heard in the past in the message of the truth of the Gospel,”
Colossians 1:4-5 AMP
In conclusion, grow from faith to faith to faith. God is happy when His child puts faith to work.
“Firstiees” – what nobody has ever done before. Engage in this.
In the walk of faith, Don’t ever give up, keep on keeping on.
