One of the most sacred moments for me every year is the crossover service — that space where we pause, listen, and discern what God is saying about the year ahead. It’s not just tradition; it’s alignment. It’s about receiving divine direction and then responding intentionally.
At the 2025/2026 crossover service, Daddy GO, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, shared prophetic declarations concerning the year 2026. As I sat with these words, my spirit leapt. These weren’t just comforting promises — they were instructions, assurances, and weapons.
Scripture reminds us in 1 Timothy 1:18 to “wage a good warfare” with prophecies that have gone ahead of us. So this post is me doing exactly that — highlighting what God is saying about 2026 and encouraging us to key into it boldly, prayerfully, and with faith-filled action.
So, what is God saying about 2026?
1. 2026 Will Be More Remarkable Than 2025
This immediately sets the tone. If 2025 stretched you, shaped you, or even tested you — 2026 is not meant to be a repeat. It’s a step up. God is intentional about seasons, and this is a year marked for distinction and noticeable impact.
2. The Wind That Began in 2024 Will Blow Stronger
There has been a divine wind blowing since 2024 — a wind of movement, change, disruption, and alignment. In 2026, that wind doesn’t die down; it intensifies. Things that felt slow before will gain speed. What required excessive effort before will begin to flow with greater ease.
3. More Opportunities Than Ever Before
This year carries increased access. Doors will open in places you didn’t even knock. Conversations will turn into opportunities. Seeds sown quietly in previous seasons will begin to surface publicly. The key is discernment — recognizing and stewarding these opportunities well.
4. More Breakthroughs, Successes, and Victories — With Fewer Failures
This doesn’t mean the absence of challenges, but it does mean a higher frequency of wins. Battles will end quicker. Lessons will come with less loss. God’s grace will tilt outcomes in your favour in visible ways.
5. Testimonies Will Begin With: “God Remembered Me at Last”
This one sits deep in my heart. It speaks to delayed promises, long waits, silent seasons, and prayers that felt unanswered. 2026 is a year where divine remembrance will be evident. Not because God ever forgot — but because the appointed time has come.
Our Response Matters
Prophecy is powerful, but participation is required. This is not a year to be passive. Pray these words. Declare them. Align your actions with them. Let your faith rise to meet what God has already spoken.
As we journey through 2026, may we not just hear what God is saying — may we partner with Him to see it come to pass.
This is a year to believe boldly, pray intentionally, and walk confidently.
God has spoken. Now, we wage war with the Word.
