Hey Fam! Trust y’all are doing okay?

In my most recent episode of The Candid Christian Series, I share what prayer is to me and also shared my understanding on;

Praying in Tongues:

“For if you have the ability to speak in tongues, you will be talking only to God, since people won’t be able to understand you. You will be speaking by the power of the Spirit, but it will all be mysterious.” – 1 Corinthians 14:2 NLT

Prayer of Agreement:

“Again I say to you, that if two believers on earth agree [that is, are of one mind, in harmony] about anything that they ask [within the will of God], it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” – Matthew 18:19 AMP

The Importance of Purity in Prayers:

“If I regard sin and baseness in my heart [that is, if I know it is there and do nothing about it], The Lord will not hear [me]; But certainly God has heard [me]; He has given heed to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer Nor His lovingkindness from me.” – Psalms 66:18-20 AMP

Importance of Speaking Honestly:

“God’s there, listening for all who pray, for all who pray and mean it.” – Psalms 145:18 MSG

The Importance of The Holy Spirit:

“And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.” – Romans 8:26-27 NLT
