Today, I’ll be sharing my encounters with The Word (Jesus), and by this, I mean when The Word became flesh in my life. I’ll be sharing three major scriptures that stood out in different seasons of my life so if you’re any of the season, you can also use these scriptures.
“The Word (Jesus) became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, Generous inside and out, true from start to finish.” – John 1:14 MSG
If you have any doubts about Jesus being The Word, please read these verses below:
“He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.” – Revelation 19:13 AMP
“For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.” – Hebrews 4:12 AMP
“There should be a consistency that runs through us all. For Jesus doesn’t change—yesterday, today, tomorrow, he’s always totally himself.” – Hebrews 13:8 MSG
The Three Seasons (Fun fact, they all required obedience, complete trust in Him, not knowing what was next).
My Future Spouse – Luke 22:42 EASY
“‘Father, if you want, you can save me from this time of great pain. But I do not ask you to do what I want. Do what you want to do.’”
Quitting My Job – Isaiah 60:5 (NLT)
“Your eyes will shine, and your heart will thrill with joy, for merchants from around the world will come to you. They will bring you the wealth of many lands.”
Filming Episode 4 of The Candid Christian Series – Proverbs 2:7 (MSG)
“He’s a rich mine of Common Sense for those who live well, a personal bodyguard to the candid and sincere.”
What God does for one, He can do for all. All that’s required is your faith, your belief in His ability to do the same for you. Would you trust Him?
