For the last couple of weeks, the peace I’ve had, has been unusual and continual!

I noticed even when things came up that would usually break me or send me into dayssssss of worry, in less than 5 minutes, I’m back to being at peace.

At first, I thought it was because I was praying a lot or the class I was taking (The Pure Heart Class), which has been so insightful but it wasn’t either!

Yesterday, while reading Romans 2, the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to see and understand verse 10 – continual peace is a promise!

“…But when we do what pleases God, we can expect unfading glory, true honor, and a continual peace—to the Jew first and also to the non-Jew”.

I realized the last couple of weeks I’ve been asking the Holy Spirit for a lot of help so I can live to please Him. I’ve been stepping out in faith because I know faith pleases God (Hebrews 11:6) and like I shared in my previous post, I’ve been making out time to praise Him in songs, with my thoughts and in a dance since that brings Him great delight! (Psalm 147:1)

God’s word is true. It is truth and He never goes back on it. Without even knowing the verse I shared above, I have been experiencing continual peace and I’m thankful He showed me this because this confirms to me that He does keep His word and I can trust Him!
