My devotional yesterday and today has been just what I needed. Indeed God always sends His word at the right time!
The lesson both days have been about Joseph. A reminder of how God was with him and because of that he prospered. Today, we are reminded of how his brothers were going to kill him out of jealousy but God’s mercy came through for him.
The events in your life might be saddening and unpleasant but God’s Mercy is available to you so you will be favored regardless.
“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”” Lamentations 3:22-24 NLT
Stick with God and let those who are jealous of you keep trying to put you down. Believe me, He will show Himself strong and lift you up and they will be alive to see.
