What I realized about Hymns

I never really liked or paid attention to hymns. Used to feel they were too slow and not my kind of music for worship.

It wasn’t until this year, I can’t remember the particular hymn the choir sang in church but for the first time, I paid attention to the lyrics or should I say message of the song and it was so powerful.

Now, I look forward to learning and singing along both opening and closing hymns during Sunday services.

I’m thankful for this insight.

    Lovely post, Hymns are very good, growing up in a Baptist Church we sang hymns every Sunday, initially they felt kinda boring and old but as time went on I found a new love for them. The words in most hymns are powerful and have a message.
