Almost everyone is on at least one social media platform and I understand some people are on it to promote their business or catch up with old friends or to distract themselves from their busy life for a few minutes, the list goes on.
The entertainment industry in my opinion has taken over all platforms. As Christians, it’s important that we also follow people and pages who have content that’s faith strengthening / gives hopes. This can serve as a reminder to what’s important, your priority – living as God wants us to, so we don’t get sucked in.
I’m sure at some point in our lives, there has been a point where first thing we pick up as soon as we wake up is our phone and before we drop it back down it’s a struggle because after checking your WhatsApp, you’ll want to go on Instagram or Facebook or Twitter to see what’s up and you haven’t even prayed or read your devotional.
