Heyyyy!
Happy new month (even though I’m 9 days late). I took a short break because I was confused and needed to make an important decision which was weighing me down. I thank God for clarity and peace.
Ever wondered why you still have friends, why sometimes you’re able to buy the things you really desire after saving up, you still have your job or clients, why you’re still fit (for those of you who exercise regularly) or why you’re doing so well at school?
This because you are consistent. You make efforts into saving, talking to you friends, reading for exams, going to work and the gym everyday so why aren’t we consistent in spending time with God?
The quote in the image attached to this post says consistency creates integrity and integrity breeds trust. Our faith is shaky because we don’t trust God and we don’t trust God because we haven’t allowed him show His integrity in our lives (that He keeps to His word and won’t fail us) and that can’t happen if we are not consistent in building our relationship with him.
We need to stop allowing distractions come between us and God. We need to be firm in making out time daily to commune with Him. I pray God gives us all the grace to do this in Jesus name. Amen.
