Your gift is what sets you apart from others. Your talent. Your ability to do something without feeling like it’s a burden or you are being punished.
Are you one of those people who hate or are bitter when your friend is succeeding or even a stranger is doing better than you are ?
If you’ve been working in a particular field and things seem difficult or you don’t even enjoy what you’re doing, one of two things is going on;
1. You’re most likely in the wrong field. That’s why you don’t enjoy what you do.
2. Individually, we have different timing. That you have been working so hard and you’re not seeing results yet doesn’t mean it won’t come. So trust in your timing. Be patient.
There’s a process for things. Even if you discover your talent today and you start engaging in that line or field of work, you can’t immediately expect to blow. There are steps you have to go through before reaching the top.
Look at the time it took you to finish school or as a baby learnt to start walking, learning to drive, cutting or how long it takes your hair to grow, building a house, even with getting to know God. It’s not in one day. It’s a step by step process.
That’s why celebrating milestones is important. It helps you remember and keeps you thankful for the past and gives you hope that there’s more to come.
Two ways you can discover your gifts:
1. Talking with God, close friends and family.
2. Taking time to out to examine yourself.
Find what makes you, you. What do you enjoy doing? What can you do to make it yield an income?
A few bible verses to help and motivate you;
We are created in Gods image. God created all the world and everything in it and since we were created in his image it means we also have that ability to create.
We are all unique so there no point hating on each other. Instead let’s come together and share ideas, look out for how we can assist each other to build something that will stand out.
Even if you and your friend are in the same field, there will always be something that will distinguish you from your friend. That one thing that distinguishes you is what will make you excel when you invest in it.
Trust God and His timing, believe in yourself, keeping pushing. Everything will work out.
Have a great weekend.

Correct and Encouraging; Though the scripture you used refer more to Ministrial Gift which are different from Natural Talents. Nevertheless, the application of the advice is universal to both.
“….for we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise..”
2 Corinthians 10:12
