“My future partner must be like this and have that” but are you working on yourself?

Yes, it is great to know what you want in your future partner but are you working on being all that is on your list?

I was discussing with my colleague and friend, Nnenna. I don’t exactly remember how the conversation led to relationships and how it’s important to know what we want in our partner but also to be the kind of person we want for our partner.

I found this insightful because as much as I have been praying for the kind of man I want, if i am going to be honest with you, I don’t put so much effort to become all of the things on my list.

I also realised i should pray God moulds me into the woman that he wants me to be (whoever that is). My list should also be not be carnal. Yes, it is important he has a job or owns his business but i should pray for someone God fearing, kind and honest amongst other things and not just about money.
