Have you ever been in a dark place and no one around you knew about what you were going through?
You probably succeeded coming off as things were fine with you when hanging around friends and family or did you just blank everyone for a while?
Personally, there’s been two times in my life I’ve been in a dark place. The first time, I shared with close friends and the other time, I just blanked everyone and talked to my parents (my best friends and supporters 💛)
Everyone goes through something they can’t talk about or find it difficult talking about, this is why we should always pray for others especially when they come to mind.
Praying for other people is a way of showing love even if we do not speak to them any longer or as much as we used to.
My favorite bible verses about praying for people.
“After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.” – Job 42:10 NIV
“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,”– Colossians 1:9 NIV
“God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by Godʼs will the way may be opened for me to come to you.” – Romans 1:9-10 NIV
Let try to practice praying for our family friends, colleagues and acquaintances because it goes a long way and we might not always know what’s going on with them.
