Anticipating May 29th 2015

It’s heartwarming to know some of my readers have been checking from time to time to see if I uploaded a new post. I apologize for the silence and I appreciate your messages and calls as to why I haven’t put up a post.

I’m here now and I promise by Gods grace I’ll always have a new post saturday nights so you have a lesson from a story or bible verse to get you through the week.

As I was preparing for work this morning I felt strongly in my heart to pray for Nigeria. Not long after I got to work, I got a message from my dad to my siblings and I and yes he calls us ‘Baby’ 🙂

“Hello my Babies, pls take time 2 pray (& fast) more over d next 3 days 4 Nigeria. Also pls make sure U have food at home just in case d power & fuel situation remains same & ATMs, POSs, GSM cell sites, Banks, etc can no longer work by Thursday 28th May. God WILL answer us speedily as we humble ourselves, cry 2 Him & 4sake our evils ways as His People. We MUST do all of dis NOW!!! God B with us all. Buki J.”

What is it going to take for us as a nation to recognize we need God ?

What is it going to take as an individual to recognize you need Jesus?

We can do nothing on our own, if we focus on our strength. The sooner we realize this the easier life becomes for us.

Let’s support our incoming leaders with our prayers. Little wonder the Psalmist prayed in Psalm 60 v 11: “Give us help from trouble for vain is the help of man”. Right now as a nation, we can’t expect help from any other nation or man but God.

Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning
– Psalm 30:5

I believe that for a praying nation the best is yet to come. Our joy as a nation is fast coming. Let us sow now with our prayers so we reap change.

There is a season to everything under the heavens and now is the time to sow.

April Holy Ghost Service, Pastor E.A Adeboye made me understand that when God touches anything, that thing experiences a miracle. There is restoration.

He gave so many biblical examples that were amazing. Let’s ask God to intervene & touch Nigeria. Desire a miracle and restoration but most importantly let His will be done in our country.

A lazy christian won’t have victory this is why we need to fight this with the word of God.

And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for. (‭1 John‬ ‭5‬:‭14-15‬ NLT)
Memorize this bible verses. Meditate on it. Move it from your head to your heart. As you pray back up your prayer with it.
Enjoy the rest of your week. Till Saturday, Stay Blessed!😊
