It’s heartwarming to know some of my readers have been checking from time to time to see if I uploaded a new post. I apologize for the silence and I appreciate your messages and calls as to why I haven’t put up a post.
I’m here now and I promise by Gods grace I’ll always have a new post saturday nights so you have a lesson from a story or bible verse to get you through the week.
As I was preparing for work this morning I felt strongly in my heart to pray for Nigeria. Not long after I got to work, I got a message from my dad to my siblings and I and yes he calls us ‘Baby’ 🙂
“Hello my Babies, pls take time 2 pray (& fast) more over d next 3 days 4 Nigeria. Also pls make sure U have food at home just in case d power & fuel situation remains same & ATMs, POSs, GSM cell sites, Banks, etc can no longer work by Thursday 28th May. God WILL answer us speedily as we humble ourselves, cry 2 Him & 4sake our evils ways as His People. We MUST do all of dis NOW!!! God B with us all. Buki J.”
What is it going to take for us as a nation to recognize we need God ?
What is it going to take as an individual to recognize you need Jesus?
We can do nothing on our own, if we focus on our strength. The sooner we realize this the easier life becomes for us.
Let’s support our incoming leaders with our prayers. Little wonder the Psalmist prayed in Psalm 60 v 11: “Give us help from trouble for vain is the help of man”. Right now as a nation, we can’t expect help from any other nation or man but God.
