The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it. (Proverbs 10:22 NIV)

Two most powerful forces on earth are blessings and curses. One is the opposite of the other. Particularly when we are talking about divine blessings and curses. Anything you want on earth you can have it, if God blesses you. If God blesses you, your problems are over, you shall inherit the earth. If God curses someone that fellow shall be cut off. A man that is cursed of God, sooner than later shall become desolate.

The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. (Psalm 37:40 NIV)

What happens when a man curses another man ? If for a justifiable reason, the curse begins to work immediately.

A curse is an invitation to all forces in heaven, on earth, underneath the earth to work against somebody. Until they finally destroy him. When someone is cursed, angels, demons, ordinary water will work against the fellow.

In Genesis 31v31-32. We see here Jacob cursed whoever stole Laban’s gods and the curse took effect in Genesis 35:16-19 unknown to him at the time it was his wife Rachael.

It’s best to be on the Lords side because If God curses you, to who will you run ?

Cain ended up a vagabond and he was supposed to be the first born of the whole earth.

We see another example in Mark11:12-14 Jesus cursed the fig tree and in Mark 11:20-22 we see Peter and Jesus’ response. From this we can see that When God curses it works from the very root.

You can’t contact blessing until you know what a curse is.

A blessing is an invitation to all forces in heaven, on earth, underneath the earth to co operate with a man to help him succeed. When you’re blessed it will not make sense to you how the blessing can come to pass.

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.” (Genesis 1:28a NIV)

This was Gods first blessing.

Be fruitful means my efforts Will never be fruitless. Multiply means if I’m worth 2 naira today tomorrow I Can be worth 200 naira. In a week 200 thousand and I’ll keep multiplying. Replenish the earth means whenever I arrive restoration comes, subdue it means everything will be under my feet. Exodus 32:25-26

The beauty of being blessed by God:

~ You become completely immune to curses. Numbers 23:8
~ God can change a curse to a blessing. Deuteronomy 23:4-5

If God loves you, instead of curses coming out of the mouth of a man you get blessings instead. But then, God can change a blessing to a curse if you dishonor him.

“Those who honor me, I will honor” – God Speaking. Will you honor God ?

Giving God your first fruits shows you honor him. “Honor The Lord with thy first fruits”.

There are blessings that even God cannot reverse. Blessings that can never become a curse. Genesis 22:16-18. God Swore.

Sacrifices are involved, God blesses who and however he wants. God is not arbitrary. Whatever he does he does according to principle. Proverbs 26:2 tells us that God will not curse you without a reason.

“If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.” (Deuteronomy 28:1 NIV)

“Observe and Do” “Blessings will Pursue and Overtake”

The only way to stop Gods blessings is to stop living holy. Blessings don’t come without a curse. You have to do something to make that great thing become a reality. God from time to time will give you an opportunity to choose. Do you want divine blessings or divine curses ? God will not force you.

The blessing of The Lord maketh rich and addeth no sorrow. “He keeps his beloved safe” when you sleep you’re surrounded by the angels of the almighty God.

Will you honor him ? Will you do his will ? The blessing of The Lord is in the house of the righteous the curse of the Lord is in the house of sinners.

Crave to honor your Creator. Choose God, my Father and become The Blessed of The Lord.
