On my birthday, the Lord placed a scripture on my heart—one that I’ve since received several confirmations about. It’s a verse I know, but this time, it came alive in a deeper way.
“Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.” — Isaiah 41:10 (TPT)
The King James Version says it this way:
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” — Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)
Both translations carry the same powerful truth: God is present, God is faithful, and God is our strength.
When God Speaks Through Scripture
There are moments when God doesn’t just quote Scripture to us—He breathes it into our spirit. That’s what this verse felt like for me. It wasn’t just encouragement; it was instruction.
A reminder.
A reassurance.
A promise.
In a world that constantly feeds us reasons to fear, worry, and second-guess ourselves, God gently says, “Fear not, for I am with you.”
Not “try not to fear.”
Not “figure it out first.”
But simply: Fear not. I am with you.
From Head Knowledge to Heart Revelation
As we step into a new week, I’ve decided to meditate on this verse intentionally—not just read it, but sit with it, repeat it, pray it, and believe it.
I don’t want it to remain head knowledge.
I want it to become heart conviction.
Because when challenges come (and they will), I don’t want to hope that God will help me—I want to be certain.
Certain that He will strengthen me.
Certain that He will help me.
Certain that He will uphold me.
Not because I feel strong—but because He is.
A Reminder for You This Week
If you’re reading this and you’re feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, tired, or afraid about anything—this verse is for you too.
God is not distant.
God is not silent.
God is not absent.
He is near.
He is faithful.
He is holding you.
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
A Prayer for You
May this scripture move from your head to your heart.
May fear lose its grip on you.
May you become deeply aware of God’s nearness.
May His strength carry you through every situation this week.
And may you rest in the assurance that His right hand is holding you firmly.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
